NABC is committed to advancing the field of counseling through meaningful research. To support scholars, practitioners, and organizations seeking to engage with our community, we offer research promotion opportunities that align with our mission and priorities. These research opportunities can connect you with our extensive network of mental health professionals and supporters. We also understand the importance of protecting your members from unsolicited outreach and research that is exploitative, misaligned with our mission, or unhealthy for our community. Therefore, anyone or any entity wishing to conduct research accessing our listserv must be approved and pay an assessment fee.

Access fee: For individuals who are non-members $350, for individuals who are members $150, for institutions or organizations, $1000 research access fee.

This access fee will:

• Share your survey link and research information directly with our membership.

• Promote your research through our official listserv.

• Highlight your study across all of NABC’s social media platforms.

This investment provides exposure to over 7,000 individuals connected to NABC, expanding the reach and impact of your research.

If you are interested in sharing your study with the NABC community, please submit a request via email to nabcounselors2@outlook.com in 300 words or less, including:

1.) Title of the Research study, purpose and target population e.g., Fully licensed mental health providers (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD) who identify as Black and currently provide services to Black American clients or Black male counselors who serve only male clients.

2.) Brief description of what participation entails, e.g., a 30–60 minute semi-structured interview conducted via Zoom or a 50-question survey.  [Attach a copy of your informed consent document].

3.) Who is providing ethical oversight, e.g., this study has been reviewed and approved by the _________ University Institutional Review Board (IRB). [Attach a copy of your formal IRB approval letter.]
