About the Division

The College & Career Counseling Division is dedicated to empowering Black counselors and professionals who are committed to equity-driven initiatives in higher education and career development. By focusing on sustainable, culturally responsive practices, we aim to ensure that Black students and professionals thrive, not just survive, as they navigate their academic and career paths. Our division fosters collaboration, leadership, and advocacy to increase representation, break down barriers, and create lasting impact in counseling, education, and career development.

Vision

Our vision is to build a powerful network of Black counselors leading bold, equity-driven college and career initiatives that center the success of Black people and individuals across the African diaspora. Through collaboration, advocacy, and leadership development, we strive to cultivate an environment where Black professionals feel empowered and supported as they create lasting change within higher education and workforce sectors.
