The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Student Health Services (SHS) at SIU Carbondale is seeking applications for a Mental Health Coordinator (CAPS in Housing) position. CAPS in Housing offers students expanded access to mental health treatment by offering evening and weekend appointments. This position includes evening and weekend hours. CAPS maintains an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship and provides comprehensive mental health services to diverse students of a large state university. This is a 12-month, full-time term appointment. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, professional liability coverage, and salary commensurate with experience. Licensed clinical supervision is provided for practitioners who are in the process of pursuing licensure. Non-licensed providers are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will provide counseling therapy, stress management, and suicidal, homicidal assessment and evaluation to students.
