Under the general direction of the director of counseling services, the Mental Health Counselor serves an essential role as a direct mental health service provider to Hood College students, including residential and commuter undergraduate students and graduate students. The Mental Health Counselor provides solution-focused counseling services in a manner that positively impacts the well-being of every student on our campus. In addition to clinical services, the Mental Health Counselor will engage in meaningful outreach and education activities with campus partners and student groups.
Regular hours are Monday – Friday, 9:30-5:30. This is a 10-month position, working from August-May and is open to licensed graduate professional counselors. Full position responsibilities and job details can be viewed here.
