Responsibilities of UMass Global full-time faculty include teaching, mentoring and service. Research activities are supported, but not required. All faculty positions are non-tenure track, primarily hired at the rank of Assistant Professor, however, higher rank may be considered if appropriate. Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and received the booster when applicable. The ideal candidate will have:
• Ph.D. or DMFT in Marriage & Family Therapy, or Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology
• Current MFT license
• AAMFT Approved Supervisor or AAMFT Supervision Candidate status
• Experience in online instruction
The preferred candidate will have:
• Experience in the management of programs of significant scope and complexity
• Experience working with a diverse community.
• Experience teaching adult learners in a college environment.
• Interest in continuously exploring new technology.
• Knowledge of Brandman University policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
This position includes shared responsibility for curricular administration of, teaching for, and mentoring within the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program. Responsibilities may also extend to the Master of Arts in Professional Clinical Counseling and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology programs. All of these programs enroll students across the United States. This position is expected to work and teach online, rather than from a physical campus.
